This is a scam artist who states you have tens of thousands of dollars in grants from "The Government". He demands to be paid $1500 to have the "board" bring your money to you the next day. He gets really angry if you ask questions. Was fun to play around with during a boring day though :)
Face book message from Sharon Marsh Johnson, from Whitley City , Kentucky , telll me my name was on the list for grant and to text this number . What up with that, plus I am a Canadian, and she assuring the US government would give me the money, something fishy here.
Total scam. This is an "Advance Fee" Scam and the idea is you are told you have a big prize they are about to deliver (or 12 mill in cash left by a dead Nigerian Prince) but you have to pony up for fees, taxes, bribes, shipping.... all that.
You are supposed to think the offer is legit since it is from "The Government". The same scam is done in Canada, of course. Looks like you happened to be contacted by one of the dumber crooks. Most of the scams are run far, far, away. To them, Canada and the US are the same. But then, they also think it is OK to have deep committed relationships with sheep and goats.
