Core consulting called me from 925-478-2085. Probably a mock number. I didn't pick-up and let it go to machine. Based on what I'm reading here these clowns have been doing this for 5 years. Which means the scammers are having some success with their crap. So be aware real legal issues come via USPS and you must sign for it. NOT by a phone call you didn't make. Just saying...
"Alan Cipher" from "Core Consulting Group" calling about a tax matter to "the owner", apparently unaware that actual financial matters are to be done via POSTAL MAIL.
Additional detail: call came a mere minute after one from "Integrity Financial Associates" at a different number (888-485-1610), both companies with offices in Longmont, CO. Also, it came as two calls; the first a robotic one to test that the phone line was being answered.
After multiple days, today's attempt mentioned it was their final call, "one last time". I'll believe that when they actually stop calling and put postage on paper.
Received a call today from this # and Allan Cipher of Core Consulting Group calling for the owner of AB Promotions of Tampa which I have no affiliation with. Calling about a recent tax matter that involved AB Promotions. I called the direct # back and was told that the system mustve had the wrong #. He said he would remove the #, interested to see if I get numerous calls now.
I have just rec'd the same call by the same person. He left a message on my cell phone. He said the matter was a tax issue for owner of Breeze Inc.
Have no idea who they are or what they want.
Will NOT be calling them back at all.
