I received the identical call (twice today) she said sorry I was having trouble with my headset, you stayed at one of our resorts... I told her 'no I didn't , you liar' and hung up on her while she was still talking!
Called at 4:30 today ID say "out of area". I just let it ring and it rang about 6 times. they finally hung up.
5 minutes ago I got another "out of area" from 720-214-9172. I just picked it up to avoid the constant ringing again, I didn't intend to say anything, but they hung up right away. If I think it's a robo call I will pick it up sometimes not saying anything. Robo doesn't respond if you don't say something but it usually keeps them from calling back for a day or two. I leave it off the hook until they hang up--at least it keeps their line tied up for awhile.
Yesterday I got 2 calls from 650501 today I got 2 calls for just 501 and just now I got a call from 720-214-1816, I didn't answer any of them and of course no message left.
I typically never answer a call from a number I do not know. I picked up only because I was expecting a call about a job interview. A lady said, "Hello! I was having trouble with my headset. You stayed at one of our resorts in the past and you have qualified to win a fabulous trip to...blah blah blah!" There are so many scams! This is insane! Do not answer this call!
