You filed complaints because they called you ONE TIME? Seriously, one time? You, sir, are one of the big problems in America. You are likely the sort of person who jaunts off to Walmart and finds some way to trip, fall or otherwise hurt yourself and then sue the company. One time, sheesh. Couldn't have tried the ol' 'Please remove me from your list' business? What a shame I share oxygen with someone like you.

They called me too as a cold call for any windshield damage I might have. The one thing that's funny is the girl told me they're located in the same town I'm in, but coming from the Internet world, I checked, they're not. They shouldn't assume the person on the line is a moron and won't check the web for their location.
On a message board I found, they don't respect the DO NOT CALL list, but one person said she actually hired them for windshield replacement from a cold call and got a good deal.
So their marketing practices stink, but if you need windshield repair, they might be a good place to try??
Safevue is now calling from 303.424.9537 and 303.420.5856. I was irritated at the unsolicited call and I called them back. I got a very nice guy named Matt and I scheduled an appointed with them for this Thursday morning to fix a crack in my windshield. This is how they save money on marketing...cold calling
Had one call I didn't answer at 8:19pm 2/18/11 from a number I didn't recognize. Caller ID display for the name was 720-239-1133. The calling number was 303-421-0314.
Answered a second call 2/23/11 at 9:43am from the same Caller ID display of 720-239-1133. This time the calling number was 303-420-5856. The guy said he was with Safe Vue Auto Glass. I asked why he is calling me and that I was on the do not call list. He appologized. I asked him to remove my number from their calling list.
I got a call on 16 Feb 2011, from 303-423-1628, and caller ID "name" was 7202391133. The 303 number was trying to get me to have my windshield cracks/dings repaired. I told the person I was on the National Do Not Call List, and he said that I must not have re-registered since Dec 2009, so the two years was up (I though it was good for 3-5 years).
I looked online, and found that the last time I had registered was Dec 2010! So I was definitely registered. I also looked online at the Colorado DNC List, and I was currently registered.
I called the 303-423-1628 number and somehow got forwarded to SafeView Auto Glass (720-239-1133). I talked to Joe, a supervisor (I believe), and he was a super nice gentleman. He was not happy that Do Not Call people were being called. I also believe that he said that he was using a new telemarketer, and they would have been calling since Presidents Day.
I was super pleased with the way that Joe treated me, and that he was valid-ly concerned with Do Not Call people being called. His heartfelt comment was along the lines of 'I don't need to be getting fined by the Government when this can be avoided! Things are hard enough [in this economy] without getting yourself in further trouble.'
So, if you're getting called by telemarketers, give Joe a call--he really, really wants to hear about this, and wants it to stop!
They called me today. I disagree with the comments above - it doesn't matter now "nice" they are to you, they are violating federal law. I just reported them to the DNC website. Had the same call several months ago, I reported them then, too. If they were so nice and concerned, as claimed in the above posts, they would have stopped this practice by now.
