I rejected the call because it came from an area code that I didn't recognize, and I have been receiving numerous, annoying telemarketing calls from all over the U.S. ever since I switched my cell phone carrier to Metro PCS! A Google search identified the area code was located in Denver, CO. Because the caller left a voice mail, I decided to listen to see if perhaps this was a "legitimate" call. To my complete surprise, it was a recorded message reminding me about an upcoming medical appointment in Huntington Beach, CA! Since when are calls for local appointments made from out-of-state numbers?! Really strange, IMHO.
I get my RX from CVS here in Santa Maria, CA... It's a system used to save time by letting us as clients know of RX refills, RX are ready to be picked up, etc.
I know that calls like this are annoying. If you have a call blocker on your phone, block this number. There are a lot of scam companies out there and sometimes I wonder if they are obtaining information whenever you get wierd calls like this.
I do not know anyone living in area code 720. I am not currently associating with any companies in that area. So... there is no reason for anyone from this area to call me. I received a call from 720-239-1934. I Deliberately waited until after 9 o'clock p.m. to call the number back to obtain information from an answering machine. There was no answer, voice message or sound. The connection was cut off. This must be a scam. I have blocked this call frommy phone. Even a doctors office has after hour voice mail.
