just got the same call. its funny. im unemployed and here at the house all day. I don't order anything. if I do it comes via the post office. never hit one. I just hung up on it
I called them this morning about it. they claim I took out a payday loan back in 2011 or 2012 . at an address I have not lived at since 2009 anda band I have not had since 2009. when I requested paperwork aka a bill be sent to me per federal law. she side stepped it saying it will be giving to me at the court date. I don't have the federal rule number in front of me. if they say pay or go to court. ask for the bill. if they wont give it to u. ask for their address. and there is a letter you can follow on line. keep a copy for you and send them one registered mail.
I called up the court and they know nothing about this. and they claim they are going to resend the paperwork to me bull butter. they are getting pissed that im not rolling over and giving them money.
Same as above - no message left - just an "AACKK" sound. Called back, (only because I am job hunting and don't recognize all the numbers calling) - Some Obnoxious gal named Kate - spoke 9million miles a minute - saying I was being sued for $1050.00 - I asked her from whom and what - she was vague - payday loans - deposited to your WF account - I asked for confirmation of account -"I am not giving you that!" (Then WHY THE FK did she think I would give her any info). I told her they were full of crap and that as soon as they overnighted me a copy of my signature on something I would send it to FBI along with internet fraud claim. She hung up after saying fine, see you in court.
Called Again - Just cuz I was bored - got Alonzo this time, he repeated most of what Kate said, but I got him to repeat the company names etc, and asked where the issue originated, and how I could owe a payday loan I have never gotten.... also gave him FBI info and said mail it to me - without MY signature no banana and they would be hearing from my attorney. Good thing they didn't catch me on a bad day - I have been know to sign up these idiots Ph#'s with dial-a-joke type auto dialers when they really get annoying.
This just happened to me, too! I've never done anything with Payday Loans! "Kate" started threatening me with a bunch of legal lingo, at which point I asked if this was all a joke. She kept on with the legal BS until I cut her off and told her if I hear from them again, they'll be hearing from my attorney....and he's no fake, ha! Ridiculous! How dumb do they think people are?!
