Elana calling from Sierra Club to inform something about a gatherine to raise money, yada, yada. That was her message and I didn't listen to the whole thing.
Confirmed. Something about calling again tomorrow and if I choose to answer I will be invited to take part in some kind of survey or discussion or something. But confirmed it is Sierra Club. Or, at least, claims to be. Either way: telemarketer. Added to block call list...
Have been getting several calls over the past few days. Today (9/17/2015) received calls at 12:06, 12:18, 12:24, 12:30, 12:36, 12:41, 12:45. When answered there are a few seconds of silence then it disconnects.
If you call the number an automated message says they were calling "to participate in a conversation about current events. Your opinion is important. If this call was inconvenient to you we sincerely apologize. If you would like to be added to our do not call list please press 1 now." It never states a company name or gives any option to talk to a person.
I have been on Federal and State Do Not Call lists since March 2015.
