You cold-call people with tax issues (who's numbers scum-sucking leeches like you get from public domain notices issued by government agencies), and offer to "help" them out (I assume by brokering some kind of payment plans or other financial instruments). This number repeatedly has a live caller leaving a message for me by first name only "regarding a federal tax matter" and that I should call immediately to "resolve the situation". I am wished "good luck" if I do not call (as if I'm going to need it.) I was not born yesterday- any tax matter from the IRS or US Treasury is handled by mail & they know my full name. I have never returned the call-never will. It's a scam or sales come-on. don't be fooled!
