Received a very intimidating VM from "Dennis" also in regards to a "State Tax Matter" that needs to be resolved. Total SCAM. If I had a "State Tax Matter", the State has my address since I am a law abiding tax filing, tax paying citizen and I would have received some written documentation if there actually was a "Matter".
DO NO FALL FOR THIS HOAX!!! "Dennis" is definitely trying to get personal information to Scam you. Can you imagine this guy (or several guys calling themselves "Dennis") are calling people all day long with this same hoax since as far back as 2013 and they're still doing it?
Their approach with us was for a tax lien matter. Of course they couldn't be bothered to say whatthat was or send a certified letter. Some form of a scam.
I received a call from Omni Financial and the caller, Dennis, said he was there to help me and would like to resolve the lien matter...I had no idea what he was talking about, and when I asked what the amount of the lien was, he said he didn't know....I then asked him how he could help me settle it without knowing how much it was......VERY SHADY TO ME...
I received a call from Omni Financial and the caller was also Dennis. He didn't have much information for us either. I called our Courthouse like he told me too and they had no idea what he was talking about. Do not give any information to this number.
same caller, persistent but very shady. will not disclose any info why they are calling except for some lien of some sort, but not discussion of details until they talk to the authorized owner.
