I have no complex tax issues. I owe no taxes and I pay my taxes but I got a call from Kyle Miller (from Omni) who just said for me to call him back. No reference. Two chances of that happening. Slim ... and None. Caller blocked. End of story.
Donna Drake from Omni Financial. She didnt disclose her company in her voicemail. The call was from a blocked number. The first call she said she was calling regarding a federal classified matter. The second voicemail said she was calling regarding a payroll issue.
Received a call from Donna Drake. Did not reveal where she is calling from. Referred her to someone who deciphered who she was. I did not and would not release any information to her. The nerve of some people.
Received a call from Donna Drake with Omni regarding a "941 Payroll Tax Issue - Completing abatment form. No Idea who she is but she alarmed my receptionist enough for her to notify me of a priority contact.
Received a voicemail this morning from Donna Drake, stating that she needed to speak with me about "Creative Solutions out of Fresno County." (My business name is Creative Solutions in Counseling.") I returned her call, got her voicemail, left message asking specifically what she was calling about. She called back, left another message for me stating she needed to speak to me about "a federal issue for Creative Solutions." I researched Donna Drake's phone number, found that she was with a company called Omni Financial, and saw that others had received similar calls from Ms. Drake citing her reason for calling variously as "a federal classified matter," a matter regarding "payroll," and a "941 payroll tax issue." Sounds completely suspicious to me.
