I just received another call from these scammers. Fortunately, I recently purchased a call blocking system. I'm retired and living on a budget, but these calls are incredibly annoying. They start calling early in the morning and don't stop until 9:00 P.M. and sometimes even later. This is so unfair to the general public. We need a "Do-not-Call" System that actually works.
I got the "Final Notice" call, as have many others. This usually is a robocall threatening to cut off credit cards unless you sign up with them to pay monthly installments on the balance. The numbers rotate and change every couple of weeks. The only time I got to speak with a "representative" approximately 4 years ago, I was told I was not eligible for their services. I told him that I am on the Federal and State of Colorado "Do Not Call" lists and to remove my phone number from their data base. Despite his assurances, this never happened, of course. I called the next day. I get calls from these people at least once a day and sometimes more often.
