Just another scammer jerk. My Sentry v2 nabbed him and now on my blacklist. It is a shame our gov it powerless to stop this crap. But the gov does have issues getting anything done properly.
My phone rang, I answered it and no one said anything although I repeatedly said "Hello". I suspect this is a call from a telemarkerter confirming that my number is a good number.
Strange! Phone CID says Anonymous 1 -720- 3245670 but my AT&T U verse TV interactive phone log says PRIVATE for the name and number. I have a Pansonic phone with call block. Private NEVER rings through but this strange occurrence did. I see they are getting smart with spoofing. Did not answer and blocked the number.
This person called from a call center, sounded like in India. She said she was from Windows, and that they had a report my computer had been hacked. This is a scam! I told her she is not from Window's because that would be Microsoft and they don't call people. My computer has not been hacked and that if it had my tech support department would be the ones to handle it. I told her to not call here again. They have been trying for a couple of days to reach me. I don't typicly answer Private callers; however I wanted them to stop calling every day. Please do not give anyone your personal information and Windows does not call people, They may respond back from Microsoft.
