Have had as many as 4 calls in one day, some quite early and several after 8:00 PM. I have let the call roll over to my message system and the call is quickly terminated. With the number of calls I have had this past week, I feel this caller is really badgering me!
Because Liza......as stated many many many times before on this forum, and as outlined by the DNC/FTC Registry, in the Do Not Call Site, POLITICAL CALLS ARE EXEMPT FROM THE DNC!!!!
Dear Lisa, u received the call because our leaders in Washington determined they were above the intent of the do not call list and exempted themselves. Great, huh? Of all organizations to exempt...........!!!!
Simple. The do-not-call list does not prevent non-profit organizations or political organizations from calling. Only SALES calls. Nevermind the fact that the list is voluntary with respect to who adheres to it. thus it does not prevent completely illegitimate organizations from phishing you either.
Hey, thanks for the 9 AM wake up call for only 4 hours of sleep. Hopefully I am so tired I fall asleep at the wheel, cross the double line and ram head on into some Putz Politician driving along with his whole sorry family.
