United Restitution called my sister and my ex-husband both of whom did not answer the call but were both left the same identical voicemail. Stated the message is for....and they will file legal charges with county if I don't pay. When I returned the phone call it's a lady with an accent...I asked her where their office is located and was told they have many offices but were out of Miami. I started asking questions and then realized I was just playing their game so I hung up and blocked their phone number. I had my sister and ex do the same. I have divorced from the ex for 12 years and have no outstanding debts so I know it's a scam. It's just embarrassing to have them call my sister and ex. If they keep harassing I will file charges against them. I will still report them to all the websites I can post to online...don't fall victim people.
Caller with accent asking for me, tried to verify last four of SS# and an old address, I denied both and she told me that documents would be delivered to me or even my work and advised I seek legal counsel...then told me GOOD LUCK!!
Got a call from this number & spoke to a woman with an accent. She said I had 2 allegations filed against me from a state I haven't lived in or been back to since 2006 (these "allegations" were from 2015). I told her she could fax me documents or I can goto their office to look at the file. This is when she got ugly & rude. I was told they "do not give their address out because a client can get angry when they are told they owe money to someone & they don't want to risk getting hurt." I was also told I had to pay $987.45 by the end of today or they would seek a judgment to have that money taken from my work paycheck. I knew this was a scam the moment she started speaking. I was laughing when I told her I wasn't paying anything & to get a job instead of trying to dupe people out of money. She called me a [***] & told me shed see me in court.
I'm so sick of all these scams out there!
