I got a call from this number today at 4:46pm Indianapolis time on my job, they claim that there is a serious matter in there office that need my attention today in order to clear me of the matter! The recording also stresses to have my attorney call them immediately. The past two weeks scammers have been calling from different (888) numbers asking for me at work, parents home as well as my ex-wife's cell who I don't even communicate with much! These fools have lost their D'm minds!
I received the same call twice. I did not answer but they left voice messages claiming to be with "The Division of Pre-Trial Processing". They stated they had filed claims against me with the county clerks office. They provided a case number. I called the number back and the first time it said it was disconnected(which immediately tipped me off that it was a scam). I called a second time and a guy answered. I asked the name of the business, address and who he was. He immediately became hostile and threatening. At this point I knew it was a phishing scam. I didn't confirm or provide any information. I asked they never call my number again(over his yelling and threats) and I ended the call.
I filed a complaint with my state attorney generals office. It's easy to do and you can do it online.
I got the same message, this time I answered the phone and they said if this is not Dawn XXX please hang up so I did. so hopefully they will stop or I will block them. they don't say their name
I just spoke with the State Attorney general's office in Denver. They said it was a scam and to not provide ANY information. I filed a complaint with the local attorney general's office in Denver as well.
