SCAM!! I received a call from this number saying "Our records have indicated you have not updated your google address, press 1 to update or press 3 to be removed from the list" Since this was on a work phone I was inclined to press 1. It took a few minutes to transfer to a ringing tone. Then some guy answers and says "Hello?" I was taken aback, who answers a "business" phone without announcing themselves? Then I said "Umm, hello? Yeah I don't know who I'm looking for it just forwarded me to this line so I could update an address" and he goes to someone else and says "I don't know its just some lady on the phone". and HANGS UP ON ME. When I called back it gives you some elevator music and then disconnects. TOTAL SCAM!!!
I receive calls on a weekly basis asking to "validate my Google listing". The recording goes like this: "Our records show you have not validated your Google listing. Press 1 to validate your Google listing, press 2 to be removed from the list." (Sometimes it says "9" instead of "2".) No matter how many times I select the "remove" option, I receive another call a few days later. I probably get two of these a week. Today I pressed 1 to speak to a real live person and when I complained about the calls, he hung up on me.
