Problem with this advise is that they spoof their number and it is not the same number. Yesterday they called me from a 407 exchange today from a 720, same company same pitch same scam
Got a call from these guys while at home sick, another credit card scam dialer.
Pressed "one" but didn't talk to them; just put it on speaker phone, played an audio clip from a porno. Really pissed the operator off. Cursed heavily at me before hanging up.
These robo calls never cease. Card Services?!?!?!?! Yeah right, we don't even have a credit card and they are one reason we won't ever have one. We had a Card Services credit thru our bank many years ago. They sold names/phone numbers etc evidentally. Have asked them to stop calling around 40 times, it just ticks them off they say they will remove you from their list..never happens
This company will not stop calling me. I have requested they remove my number from their data base and they hang up on me. When i ask the name of the company they hang up on me.
Next time, get all their information including the name of the person you spoke to. Then tell them the next time they call, you will file a lawsuit in small claims court for violation of the "do not call" act. Since they wont show up to defend themselves, you can win a cash settlement if you are willing to pursue the case. (Actually getting them to pay you is a different story, however) Every time I have said this to a robocall center, the calls have stopped. In order to win your case, you MUST document every time you have received a call from this number. You MUST speak to real person and get their name, date and the time they called. Most times, just the threat will make the calls stop.
