I got a call from this number today and the young man identified himself and said he was from Heifer International.
It did sound legitimate but I don't want to donate to them so I told him to take my name off his list. What I don't get is that
other posts here say the caller hung up or would not identify himself. Would the same number be used for many different organizations/scammers?
2 calls so far today - 2 previous day. Caller hangs up immediately on pickup. Way strange stuff happening with
telephones these days - a scam a day or so it seems.
The call I got from them was also from Heifer International, which I have donated to in the past. It was legit, but they called everyday until I answered the phone.
