I got the same call from 832-271-2145 , funny thing is it never took out a Pay Day loan . I played along and asked them to send me the lawsuit . Which they did not want to send ,hence scam.
I have similar calls from this # and other #'s for the past 6 months. Very harassing calls saying if I don't pay $$ back a law enforcement agent will be at my door to arrest me. I told them that they had to do what they had to do, I will not pay money to someone who does not identify themselves. That was told to a caller 6 months ago. So far - no one has come to "take me away". With one especially, rude individual I wrote his number down and called repeatedly for about 10 min. He kept hanging up on me and on the last call I just laughed and asked him, "how does it feel to be harassed?" How do these people sleep at night?
Same thing as previous comments. Leave messages giving a complaint case no. And saying that my legal counsel or I. Must reply immediately before further action is taken. I did apply for a payday loan right before the calls.
Got a call saying I owe money for a pay day loan back in 11. Said he'd take me to court if i didn't pay 750, i laughed cuz in TX a pay day loan can't collect through the courts and is unlawful. Said I'm reporting this as a scam to the FBI and he hung up...
