i put an add on kijiji and seconds after i receive a call from 720-446-9872, not from canada for sure ...so i checked on the web and found you. Glad to see ii was not so dumd to reply. carefull people!!!
I got the same thing happen to me but theres also another number as well.. they both say there engineers offshore or on a ship.. want to use paypal or money transfers.. never give out your information ppl.. even kijiji warns you of scammers and said no online transactions should be allowed meet in person in a public place
ya, they'll tell you they're offshore on an oil rig !! ....but WHY does someone thousands of miles away shop for a car on Montreal Kijiji ?? Is he going to drive the car around on the oil rig ?? And if he's really from Montreal, why doesn't he just wait until he gets home to buy it ?? Again, is he going to drive his car around on the oil rig ?? These scams are SOO ridiculous but people still fall for them. I just got a text from the idiot at that number and he asked me my final price for the car i have for sale on Kijiji.....i texted him back the amount of ONE MILLION DOLLARS and he STILL texted me back suggesting that he'll send me money by Paypal !!
There's a scam born every minute and every minute there's a sucker to fall for them. Use your head and don't be one of them !!
