Answered because it's a local area code. I heard, "Hi, this is Emily, and I'm calling today because our records show that you have stayed in one of our resorts in the past." I said, " I assure you, I have not." The voice on the other end got louder, making me think it was a live person trying to talk over me. We have not stayed in any sort of hotel, much less one designated as a "resort" since I got this number. So sick of the scammers.
Geez, seems these crooks are using new numbers every day for the same old scam. This time I put it on mute and let the whole robocall spiel go just to tie up the line for an extra minute.
