They're not "LEGIT" and don't abide by the DO NOT CALL lists...
I haven't gotten a legitimate solicitation call since the lists came out many years ago. ONLY LEGIT businesses obey the DO NOT CALL lists. ALL these other calls are spam and fraudulent. My suggestion is don't answer any numbers you don't recognize. Block your number then input the number that called you (*67-xxx-xxx-xxxx). They won't know who you are and you'll know if it's a legit call. Most of the time you'll get a recording that the number is DISCONNECTED!
I got a call from this number earlier. I blocked my number and called it back. A recording said "Press *9* to be put on the DO NOT CALL list"...hmmmm...how do they know if I should be on the DO NOT CALL list? ~~ SCAM ~~
