I've gotten this same call from many different phone numbers and locations. It's the one were they say it's about your credit card and this is your last warning.
Now their # is 702-459-9607 same credit card scam. But they leave a "hey" on the answering machine as I never pick up on numbers I don't know. Never will so stop wasting your time. Got me a whistle for next time!! Thanks AT&T for showing the numbers on t v, so I don't have to get up!
You are right, blocking is a waste of time as they use so many different numbers, all scammed.. Let answering machine take the calls and they give up trying your number if they never get an answer from you... and NEVER call them back...BIG MISTAKE
Better to let voicemail or answering machine take the calls, they give up trying soon...I bought a call blocker and feel I wasted my money,... the way they all use so many different numbers you fill the blocker in no time... and I've done the whistle thing myself, it only pissed them off and they must have put my number on a list somewhere because my call volume increased by leaps and bounds from every scum bag on earth
Good advice for everyone who is using current technology to see what phone number is calling, but I have a relative who is 96 years old, lives alone, and doesn't believe in computers or cell phones. Her old fashioned phone rings and she answers. I tried explaining this to her, but she says "how will I know if it is one of my children if I don't answer it?" My opinion is that the service providers should be able to stop giving phone numbers to scam artists and block them from doing this. Not everyone has enough income to have sophisticated phone service or equipment. Angers me. I have over 70 numbers on my block list myself. Waste of time. The calls keep coming anyway.
