Number out of area: Checked here and found the related comments. Another scum sucking company prying on people and violating their privacy. Gosh, do I feel better saying that. The last uninvited, similar call I received I referred to them as [***] but the website didn't like my language. Well, so much for Max Security and their annoying existence.
I have a cellular home phone, so only the number showed up on caller ID. The caller said he was calling about investment opportunities. I am on Do Not Call list so I looked up the number to see who it was. Apparently, they are multi talented to call from this number with so many purposes!
Max Security. The standard home security scam. There must be someone who's dumb enough to buy a home security system from a cold call. I just don't know any of those people.
I got a false alarm on my security system one day after their call (police and all). I think they have a scam set up with someone working in the alarm control center.
