I wouldn't dismiss Scam Buster's comment. I started getting a buncha spam calls and emails 2 days after I bought a domain from GoDaddy as well so even though it is probably due to the info on whois, someone's watching that list. Thanks for pointing that out. guess it's worth it to pay for the privacy add-on.
Hello everyone, yes godaddy is the source... This happens all the time i have over 200 domains with godaddy and unless you pay for the private info feature this will happen. Thats why i have a junk phone number when registering the domains. Just like a script program for snipping ebay auctions there is software to snip whois domain info.....
