None of these left a message, I answered only one and hung before their message finished this was this last number from fort wayne ind they said they were some kind of rewards and I had won something and they needed my info to send this to me,
These first numbers 720 4525508 is the one that charged my debit card which I had to get bank to cancel www.sportdip.me They charged my acct. for $10.72 , I had not used that card in several weeks and knew I had never bought anything off internet with that debit card., when I tried to call that number it kept telling me to call back at a different time when their office was open. I called early morning, middle of day and at night several days in a row with same message. and now I have that number lissted as a scam so I don't answer it at all.
It seems that i've been added to their targeting system as well. they called me at 12:41pm & then 2:16pm as well, but left no message when i didnt answer. Fortunately, I checked the area code online when i got home, and it says Colorado! I'm not anywhere near there, nor am I corressponding with anyone from there! If they call again, I will report them as well for harassment and such. If that won't work, I'll get them to reveal themselves. 8}
Clearly a scam. The man had an Indian accent. Said I had won a $200 gas card, I needed to pay the shipping charges of $2.95 and he needed my credit card number. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. He kept calling up to 10 times a day. Left one voicemail saying the same thing he had said before. I finally answered again and yelled in the phone to stop bothering me. He called back on a different exchange. Unfortunately I erased it before recording the number. But he did finally stop calling. He refused to identify his company or how he got my name and phone number because I did not enter a contest to win anything.
I'm in Ohio been getting these calls for the past few days, just answered today. Like people have said gentleman with thick accent. I didn't let him speak just politely said You've been calling for the past 3 days please loose my number I don't know you and I hung up. Lets see if/how long it keeps happening. Glad to see I'm not the only one. Scammers suck I hope no one fell for this cheap trick.
Glad to know Im not the only one!!! Ive been recieving phone calls ALL DAY for the past 2 days and its really aggravating me. The past 2 times theyve called I politely asked them to take me off the calling list and STILL they call! The last time I got a phone call about 5 mins ago I told him that I told someone already to take me off and that I would appreciate it if they stop calling me and he completely hung up on me. Does anyone know who this company is!?!?!?
Heavy accented man, stating his name was George, Jose, or Jorge Lopez. Guy sounded Indian not Hispanic. Says I won a $200 gas card and all I needed was to give my Credit Card number to pay for $2.95 shipping & handling. Guy claims to be from Pheonix Arizona. Had this same number call my mothers house. Said they were a savings company.
