It's a scammer. They call with a pre-recorded message saying you've won something. The call is designed to sound like it's not pre-recorded. They're using dragonspeak to filter your questions. "Are you authorized to contact this number?" was met with a pre-recorded "I"m sorry, could you repeat that?"
They said a company name, and I don't remember what it was, but it doesn't matter. The company name likely changes from call to call anyway, and there's no real company.
I doubt they get paid "per call" so much as they get paid per live phone number reached, which they add to a list to sell to other scammers.
Just got a call from this number. Silence then they hung up, the caller id shows BNB Processing, maybe someone got something on them, I did a google search and nothing, so far, kind of puzzle what could have been, but most likely it was a spoofed number and a scammer on the other side of the line ...
I just received the same number on my phone. I didn't answer it because I've had a number from New York calling me and I know they're spam so I figured this one was too.
They called on my cell phone regularly (maybe 10 or more times) early in the morning, several times waking me up.
As I understand - they are trying to sell cruises. It is not just annoying but also they are eating my cell phone minutes. How I can stop them?
