I pushed one and then got abusive with them when they asked me about lowering my interest rates. " NO, I want you a$$hole$ to quit bothering me with your bs." I do that with all of the callers that are unidentified on caller ID. It won't be a government agency because those say US Government on them. If you're legit then your ID will come through clean. Anyone not ID'd is just a pain in the butt, bs caller so they get what they deserve, harassment..
I am so tired of getting phone calls like this. It's even more frustrating when they simply hang up on you, even when you ask nicely to be removed from their calling list. This is definitely a scam. They are only interested in getting you to give them your credit card number(s) so they can put unauthorized charges on it. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY WAY TO TRACE THESE TYPES OF CALLS AND/OR REPORT THESE NUMBERS TO AN AGENCY THAT CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE DISHONEST COMPANIES?
Number back at it. Got several calls and even a text saying they found my number online and were responding to my inquiry. I never inquired of this number at all and upon googling it found these reports.
