It looks like I have to contact the Guinness World Record people as I have located another big anus, Comenity.  They are NOT looking for me as I don't have any debt. They are looking for the prior subscriber of my telephone number who gave up the number in 2004!! Yes, over (10) ten years ago and this bank or collection agency is so stupid that they must not check the telephone numbers provided by their debtors when they applied for credit. So now they harass whoever is blessed with the phone number.

Seems to be a frequent flyer in these pages with a very bad reputation.  Be advised that they are not subject to the FDCPA since they are the creditor.  They may however be subject to state laws.

Now for the interesting part.
BBB page with 1,614 complaints, and 174 negative reviews and they still get an A+ rating.  What the heck is that all about?  http://www.bbb.org/centralohio/business-revie ... olumbus-oh-6558
They must be paying big bucks to the BBB for that.
Bizapedia has them as a Florida Fictitious name but they are located in Ohio:  http://www.bizapedia.com/fl/COMENITY-BANK.html
Name verified at Sunbiz.org

Thanks for the advise, however, that would cost me both valuable time and money with probable poor results. I called them up directly and informed them that the attorney general of my state would be collecting $2,500.00 from them for the continued harassment. A creditor should conduct their due diligence prior to issuing credit and certainly should verify who the registered subscriber of a landline telephone number is prior to commencing a campaign of harassment against who they perceive to be their debtor.
