I missed a call from this number, (720) 458-102, which is actually in my own area code. I see from this thread that this is obviously yet another in a huge number of robocalls that I've received over the past year. These often come from spoofed numbers from odd locations (like small towns in Texas, etc), but I'm starting to get an increasing number of these calls from my own area code. These crooks appear to be getting a bit smarter by using spoofed local numbers, probably as a ploy to make you more likely to answer the call (as per the comments by 'Jae' above posted on Jan 4th). Of course, why these networks of predators think we are likely to fall for these idiotic scams by calling the same number over and over again tells me that they are actually not terribly bright.
Didn't bother calling back. Just put it into my blocked list.
If I knew who they really were, I could start a class action lawsuit against them for unsolicited telemarketing calls, and possible fraud.
NEVER PRESS ANY NUMBER TO BE REMOVED FROM ANY CALLING LIST!
This is a trick pond scum, bottom feeder scammers use to verify your phone number is a working number. They then make money by adding it to a list they then sell to other pond scum, bottom feeder scammers. Just DON"T answer any unknown number. If it's legit, the caller is most likely going to leave you a voicemail.
