They left a VM saying that they were the IRS and I had tried to commit fraud on my tax return. They are issuing a warrant for my arrest.

Just received a vm saying they were the IRS and were issuing an arrest warrant for IRS fraud under my name (never used or addressed me by name).  Please don't fall for this. IRS will NEVER call you. They used postal service.

same thing nonsense call - claiming to be notifying me of impending arrest for Tax fraud. I'm in US on holiday and have never filed a tax return here. It was recorded message They had no information, not even my name. Such an obvious hoax I can't believe anybody would fall for it.

Same thing. Wanted to call them back just to cuss them out and get the last word.  Just blocked the number.
