I got a call from this number and the man said his name was Robert Henry from CBI. I foolishly fell for it. After the call something just didn't seem right so I looked up the number and I now find out it is a total scam. Fortunately, I called my bank right away and took care of the issue. I feel like such a fool. You can bet I won't fall for that again. Please be aware of this guy and don"t return his call.
I received a call from him also....Said he was Officer Robert Henry from the Office of Investigations and that I was being sued by a Finance company and I owed them $7178 or something like that ...did I try to steal their money or was it a misunderstanding. To keep it out of court they would settle for $450. I told him all I had was $150. He had all of my information....home phone...address...last 4 digits of my social....then I had a weird charge on my account and I called the bank....cancelled my debit card....closed my bank account and opened a new account....he hasn't called me since....also called and talked to my local sheriffs dept. They told me it was a scam....don't ever fall for that cause they use scare tactics to try and make you give them money and once you give it to them they keep taking it till you have nothing....so please do not fall for it and if you get a call from this man then hang up...
Since I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know and I don't know anyone in Colorado, it went to voice mail. When I listened to the message the call was from a Frank (didn't catch a last name) from "Advanced Payday" telling me that he had a legal matter to discuss with me and that I should call him back before he files a claim with the court. Since I don't know what he is talking about I'm going to save this number and write a letter to the Attorney General's office of Colorado.
