Constant calls. Accented woman told me I had won $5000.00 in travel awards and wanted to know if I preferred to have them delivered to me in the morning or afternoon. I had put the phone on speaker and first listened to a 1 minute explanation of how I was picked, etc, etc. I never spoke, never answered her question about my preference, and after about 3 minutes she hung up. Hopefully by letting her speak to essentially no one and waste her precious time she will get the hint and not call back. so far so good
When I first answered the call, there was a long pause at the beginning where it presumably clicked over to their next available solicitor person. They identified themselves as raising money for a police charity fundraiser.
