This number just called. I purchased a good call blocker, so I blocked them. But, they're just like vermin, and they'll change their number and caller I.D., and we'll do it again. I don't mind giving to causes I believe in, and I've done the research to determine if they're scams or not, and if they spend my donation wisely. But never on the telephone. Don't believe caller I.D., they even call my own landline and caller I.D. shows me calling myself. Good trick if you can con people, but not this senior, who is their biggest target. In this crazy world, where money allows anyone to prey on the vulnerable, you just have to learn to fight back. The Congress won't fund the Do Not Call List, most State Legislatures won't either. So fight back, as best you can. And if you know vulnerable seniors, please help them. A lot of them are so lonely they'll pick up the phone and get taken for what they have. Not this old grandma, if they showed up on my doorstep, I'd beat them bloody with my cane.
