Spammers, they called, when I picked up no one there. Called them back right to a machine to opt out of their special promotions. On to the block list!
Recorded female voice stating her name as Allie calling because they'd noticed that my small business qualified for a loan. Hung up. My small business doesn't need their kind of loan.
OVER AND Over and over again; I can block 1000 calls a week, cease answering my phone for 10+ years yet it never ends. Apparently I will need to change landline phone services and leave Verizon,. Due to some absurd, old boy politicking in provicialcial Boston we in the immediate "outskirts" of Boston (we are in Boston) cannot get Fios and therefore cannot partake in free, call blocking-services as provided by the cable phone companies. We are considered copper wire and , as such, are treated as second class w/limited services. Yet, we pay Boston property taxes, hight cost utility services, lousy snow removal , but unlike the rest of the city we have more limited limited trash removal and filthy streets w/limited or no street cleaning. We are not considered important enough for updated telephone services. hello Comcast or RCN. Really nice that I'm forced to choose a competitor after 20 years w/Verizon simply to alleviate at least some of the telemarketing calls.
