shaky old lady voice asking for specific person. I asked who she was and what company she is with. Couldn't understand everything said, except for the words "recovery service"
Figured it was another collection attempt from someone new.
Makes me wonder though, since I had an accident a few days ago, and hope it wasn't some kind of medical recovery service I might really need, since I did get hurt :)
So to be safe, I'm adding this number to my "blocked numbers" list for my phone.
I told her we don't know anyone from there and hung up without confirming my identity.
I recd the same message from an old lady with a scary shaky voice.. something from a horror film. They do not identify who they are calling from, but they have both my work and cell number.
Received a call this morning guy said is name was Corbin Padilla said he was a "debt collector" only identification he gave. The caller ID said Denver CO. Its nice he left a message but if the caller id says denver is calling me and a guy says hes a collector I want proof before I'm going to start talking financial information with just a name and a voice. I didn't answer the phone he did not ask for me. I'll put the number on my watch list see if he calls back. I think I'll do a background check also and see if this is legitimate or if I need to get law enforcement involved with all these scams now I like going after criminals. Depending on how many calls come back from that number before i decide to block it maybe even a harassment suit as well.
