*** SCAM ALERT*** Caller says they are dell, they know your name and other info including service tags info. I asked them several times if they are Dell, they answered every time yes. Then I told them if they were really Dell they would know that I had sent the PC they were asking about to Dell. He then tried to tell me it was repaired and sent back, I told him no If your Dell you know you kept the PC. they asked repeatedly to access my PC. NEVER LET ANYONE calling you access your PC. DELL DOES NOT CALL YOU unless you call them first.
Called several times today and finally someone finally someone was on the other end, said they were Dell technical support but seemed a little shady. Wanted access to my computer and after a bit of questioning on my end call got disconnected.
Called and asked if I knew that my computer was sending them error and the caller ID was from Colarado. She didn't know how to respond to any of my questions so I laughed and hung up
