I got a text from this person, calling herself Linda Melia. I've been looking for a job. I always give out my unfixed VoIP number to people I don't know. This is the transcript of the texts I got.

I searched the number the text came from. It's a VoIP number provided by MediaFriends, Inc. based in Massachusetts. A BBB complaint about the company can be found here.

Clicking on the Media Friends website link takes you to HeyWire, a VoIP based text messaging service for businesses. Businesses actually have to pay for this service.
'Linda' is either a hacker or an employee of a business that HeyWire provides with services or an employee of HeyWire services or one of its affiliates.
