I am selling a car and they text me  from this number. Here is how the scam works. Then send a text saying that they want to buy your car WITHOUT A TEST DRIVE. They say there going to deposit the money in YOUR PAY PAL ACCOUNT. WHY NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT??? They say there going to send an AGENT ( 007 probably) to pick up the car. After they pick up the car the money disappears from your Pay Pay Account with YOUR Car. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

I got a text from this number I found it strange that somebody was contacting me from Colorado when I live in Canada, I found this website and read about the scam and just letting everybody know that he's also using [email protected] as well as the same number.

THIS IS A SCAMMER TRYING TO SCAM CARS OFF CRAIGSLIST FROM OVER 1000 MILES AWAY

100% SCAM

I listed an elliptical on craigslist.  They sent me the following message:
"Is this still available for sale? Write back to [email protected] to be sure this is a genuine Ad."

Then I responded that the elliptical is still available

Then they responded " pls email me back for further and easy communication as phone calls are restricted at the moment"

So I got 2 different reasons to email them instead of communicating via text/phone call.
