This is a telemarketing outfit that claims to be the only one authorized by the Denver Post to sell subscriptions to that newspaper by phone. They also claim they have been representing the Post for 30 years. They use autodialers to call people who have previously subscribed to the paper, or whose phone numbers they have gotten from various sources like utility companies, moving and storage companies, magazine subscriber lists, promotional programs, etc. They never leave a message, as they don't want you to know who is calling until they actually have you on the phone, because they believe you will avoid their calls if you know who is trying to reach you. If you call their number back from your caller ID and ask who is on the other end of the line, they either give you the phone sales rep's person's first name without telling you the name of the company, or they hang up on you.
Rec'd numerous calls from this number at least 3-4 times a day. Finally have been answering it to tell them to put me on the do not call list within the company but there is never a live person on the line. It goes straight to a busy signal. This has been going on for weeks and weeks.
