Believe this call is coming through a company called L7 VOIP. Numerous scam, survey, etc calls. just block 720-685-6xxx The number range might actually be smaller, but there are many other calls that start with this prefix that seem to be annoying calls if not down right scams.
Some idiot from home protection technologies called trying to get me to buy some crap for $68 a month then they started saying if I didn't buy it they would send someone down there to personally get the money for me which is scary because I'm in a wheelchair. I'm really scared of these people and I don't want to call the police because they're the reason I'm in a wheelchair to begin with.
File a complaint with your local LE and your phone service provider. File under Extortion since they made threats. Then file complaints with the CFPB, FTC & FCC. Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
This number along with 305-209-9944 keeps calling my young daughter's cell phone. When you call the number they have a recording that constantly says, "If you are not interested regarding our special promotion and would like to be placed on our do not call list press one now." I did that, and they called twice this morning. The other number is the same B.S. where you can't get through to anyone. I did leave a message on that line and I am sure they just ignore it. There is an app that I downloaded called PRivacy Star and you can block all these numbers. Works like a charm!
Lol...good grief, People. It took me 12 seconds to return their call and press '1' when its automated system immediately asked if I wanted to be put on their DO-NOT-CALL list. Only an additional nine seconds to generate the first relevant and informative comment in this forum.
