Number showed up on my call log for my voip. Tried calling, and kept getting recording that call can't be completed as dialed and consult phone company.
I've been getting this same phone call for many months - they usually call the home phone number and leave a recorded message saying they're calling about lowering my credit card interest rates. I have no caller ID - but I've picked up the phone a couple of times when I was here and they called. I listened to the recorded message and then pushed "one" as instructed to talk to a person. I try to find out who they are - they hang up. I try to tell them to take me off their call list - they hang up. It's like a nightmare - they won't stop calling, but then they hang up on you when you actually talk to them. I believe they were going to ask for my CC number. Today, for the first time, they called my cell phone (not a public number and never had trouble before) It was the same recording, and I pushed "one" - started to say please take me off the call list and they hung up. I am so angry I could spit. I'm going to find out who these [***] are - I need my line open at all times as I'm on a transplant list and must be available to answer.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
