I got the same message twice this week as those above. A woman stating she needs to discuss "an urgent legal matter"... very annoying, earlier this year about a month or so ago, same type of call, called my personnel office reporting they needed information about me. Luckily, they were professional enough to not give them ANY information and took a message for me to call back. When I called back no answer but returned my call several times. I finally answered and told them to stop calling.
Said they were a State to State Legal processing, calling for a legal matter that needs to be cleared up today. This matter is with intent to collect on a debt ? If they do not hear from me will pursue other legal actions. It was a recording.
Called me this morning. Didn't answer cause I was at work. Said they are with State-to-State Processing. Sounded like the same script as Recovery State Solutions. Even sounded like the same woman
Received a call around early August 2014 regarding an "official notice of intent." She spoke of some outstanding legal matter. The tone of the woman's voice was aggressive and threatening. The serious and stern tone of voice is par for the course for these types of annoying and obviously bogus phone calls.
The text of the message referred to my rights being "waived" unless they heard back.
Note: if you are involved in a legal matter, you most likely will, at a minimum, receive written correspondence. Just a phone call from some random person threatening you is not the way legitimate debts are collected or legal matters settled.
