If you've really been loading the DNCR site "numerous times YEARLY" you've no excuse not to know how you are supposed to use it and what it's meant to cover. Previous complaints suggest the work of a commercial fundraiser, not cold sales calls. Do your homework and determine why that matters.
Fraudulent sales callers have made a choice to ignore your choice not to be bothered. They count on you to behave like the other commentors here, sitting on your hands and waiting for "government" to mount a rescue. Proactive responses include ordering unwanted callers to quit, complaining to regulators, and suing bad actors when possible.
I picked this call up as it was a colorado area code....my daughter moved there months ago so they must know that as I am all the way in vermont. Sounded like a recording that started out saying, "hello, this is Anna Wilson"....I just hung up.
