Company is Enagic and the idiot on the prerecorded call is Arnold Glenzer. He will speak to you as if you are an adolescent. His phone number is 817-223-0042. Time to turn the tables on the people who interrupt our days
Received a call from 720-842-7080. Did not answer as I did not know the # or area code. Surprised when they left a message. Listened to it. Lost the beginning of the prerecorded message but it had to do with Net Spend. I have also received mail from them trying to get me to activate a credit card with them? Have no idea why they would think I was #1 interested, #2 willing to change my banking to them #3 why they are contacting me in the first place. Never done business with them and I would not change my banking to some outfit I knew nothing about when I bank at a local Credit union that I have complete confidence in!!
They called my wifes phone while she was away. I hung up after a pre-recorded message told me NOT to hang up until I had heard the whole thing. I called back and listened to another message saying they were a 40 year old, top tier company marketing a 'water ionization' process, which is garbage no matter who makes it as water cannot be "ionized". I got about 2 minutes into this total BS, before hanging up.
I agree with you about that company's marketing about "ionized water" being nonsense.

=== quote begin :
A water ionizer (also known as a alkaline ionizer) is a home appliance which claims to raise the pH of drinking water by using electrolysis to separate the incoming water stream into acidic and alkaline components. Proponents claim that consumption of the alkaline stream results in a variety of health benefits, making it similar to the alternative health practice of alkaline diets. Such claims are not generally accepted and contradict the laws of chemistry and physiology.

Health claims
Water ionizors are often marketed on the basis of health claims; normally focused on their ability to make water more alkaline. A wide variety of benefits have been claimed, including the ability to slow ageing, prevent disease and even offer protection from nuclear fallout. There is no empirical evidence to support these claims, nor the claims that drinking ionized water will have a noticeable effect on the body. Drinking ionized water would not be expected to alter the body's pH, due to acid-base homeostasis.

Pure water is far more healthful than this gimmick that is being promoted. And you can buy it when you want it from most grocery stores for less than two dollars per gallon, in gallon containers, 2.5 gallon containers, and 5 gallon containers.
BUT
Water is normally ionized by the presence of ionic substances. Salt is one such substance. The scale that appears in pipes and the bottom of pots after boiling tap water and well water, and water spots on dried dishes after washing, were all ions in the water.
In the electronic manufacturing business, we have a need for very pure water. Water from the most water suppliers contains minerals and chlorine or chloramine and possibly flourination, all of which is ionic. We have to remove those ionic atoms and molecules, mainly using ion-exchange materials, then membrane filtration. The result we call deionized water.
