Received a phone call a number 6202138487. saying they were the mediator for a company pursuing legal action against me for a refusal of payment on loan I applied for but didn't finalize on march of 2012.......we are in 2014 now really. I will say the lady had a American accent and spoke English so I understood her just fine but she could not provide me with the contact number for the company taking action against she couldn't provide me with it instead she states they will mail it to me. So I check with my bank and I had no deposits from any companies. Any Ideas what she could be taking about or is it a scam
This is definitely a scam operation. Last month I applied for a few online payday loans but didn't finalize any loan applications. Since then, my email and phone has been slammed with loan offers. This particular caller is calling from a call center (presumably overseas) and speaks in very broken English. He sounds Indian or Middle Eastern. He says his name is "Mark Johnson" and that if I, or my attorney of record does not call him back at this number, he wishes me good luck because I will be arrested. Other people have received the very same call, only with other made-up names like "Peter Parker" (Spiderman?)
Mama didn't raise no fool. Even if I was in default of a payday loan, it is not a criminal offense. These guys are idiots.
They have been calling the last few days. I too filled out an application for a payday loan online but never finalized any. I think he also said about an attorney but I couldn't understand it. It came in once today with that phone number & twice with "unknown." All of the message sounded like the same guy & he leaves that phone number for a return. It is a Pennsylvania number that shows but if he was an attorney like he says a google search would show something other than links to sites like this.
i recieve calls from them non stop, he too left me this message if I, or my attorney of record does not call him back at this number, he wishes me good luck because I will be arrested, he said his name was mike and left the 7243157309 number to call back i called and left a message on the answering machine flipping out.. they say they are daffy and daffy lawfirm ummmm how stupid.... they called again and i again flipped out told them i was calling the cops, ftc and reporting them and he hung up on me
How do we get them to stop calling? I had too applied for a pay day loan and didn't finalize anything. I got my first call today. I called back, told them I was going to file a report with the FBI. they hung up. I called a few times after and they kept hanging up on me. Then I spoke to another guy John, once I provided him with my name he hung up as well.
