I believe this is another "Payday Cash Advance" scheme. Caller "Adam Parker" had a blocked CLID but left this number 724-370-1299 asking for a specific staff person here, or their attorney, to call back. When I returned the call (we have been getting many harrasing calls lately that are similar and under investigation) it sounded like a typical foreign call center with heavily accented agents. When I asked the name of their business "Adam" answered "Federal Affidavit Processing Dept". When a "supervisor" got on the phone she stated they were a Cash Advance company. Area code indicates Pennsylvania but it sounds like India to me.
My son has gotten many calls from people with the Indian accent. They have called from many area codes, lately it is the 724-370-1299 number. Not only do they call him, they call his place of employment and me. They usually threaten that the local law enforcement have a warrant out for his arrest. This is getting way out of hand.
P.S. He doesn't even get pay day loans!
The name they are using here...and by the way, we are in the SOUTHWEST....not Pennsylvania....is Eric Brown. When my son said he wanted to file a complaint...they hung up
Calls from this number with heavy Indian accent saying I owe 500 dollars to a payday loan. Calls my place of employment.. Says law enforcement will be waiting for me at home to take ne to court or jail. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!
PERSISTENT HARRASMENT. THIS IS TOTAL ABUSE. THESE INDIAN GUYS HAVE NO JOB THAN HARASS OTHERS. I AM GOING TO SUE THEM FOR PERSISTENT CALLS WAKING ME UP AND HARRASEMENT. GOTTA STOP.
