This number just called my cell, I did not recognize the number so I did not answer, no message was left. I'm on the do not call list, as if that means anything. I guessed this was just another scam/ robo/ telemarketer, so I came here to check... sure enough others are experiencing the same.
(724) 524-7251 called at 830AM this morning. Recorded computerized voices says that "IRS is filing lawsuit against" me and that I need to "call this 'department' number back ASAP for more information". This is one of thetop phone scams using the IRS' name, especially this time of the year. When I call the number back (after using *67 to hide my number of course) I get "ring-no-answer". What a crock! I've already blocked the number. If they try again with a new number, I might have some fun :)

This number just called again and this time left a message, which was a robot that left their phone # 724-524-7251.
Of course I will NOT call them back
Just an FYI - shortly after receiving a call from this number today (and blocking it against further calls) I received the same identical call from another number - this time in Georgia. (404) 202-2906. I've been calling this number and having some fun with the bozos. I think I may have scared them off. It really ticks me off though when I think of how many innocent (and naive) people might be "taken for a ride".
