Rec call stating she was calling on behalf of a pro life committee and asked if I was for or against abortion. WTF is wrong with these people. WTH is the do not call list for if these groups can continue to call me !!!
They called three times over several days. The Caller ID said "Out Of Area, 1-724-565-2016." Caller hung up and left no message. I live in the 724 area code, therefore the person shouldn't need to dial the 1 prefix. I believe that if it is important and they'd really want to talk to me, they'd leave a message. Concluding that it's a repeat junk call (subsequently confirmed by the info on this site), I put the number on my phone's call block list. Now, they can call me all they want to and they won't get through to me.
This call obviously did not originate in Charleroi PA. The caller was a scumbag from overseas, barely speaking English. Asked for someone who hasn't worked here for years. This new rerouting craze is out of control. I don't understand why the FCC or other "high tech" agency can't prevent this. We are getting over a dozen scammer calls a day on our business line, with most of them now being rerouted thru US-looking phone lines. It sometimes interferes with our ability to do business .... why is no one protecting us from these criminals???
