When I received the call from 724-623-0173, the recording stated my name and said to press 1 to speak to a rep. When she answered, she said her name was "Lisa" and then ran three complete sentences together with .001 seconds, expecting me to understand what she said. I then got "APEX" from another grouping of words and asked what "APEX" was. She stated that until I verified my social security number, she could no longer assist me without doing so because it was "against the law". She then rattled off something about a subpoena and an appearance in court and hung up on me. I then called back and got a guy named "Don". He advised me that I owed money for a "Payday Loan" but, was surprised and dumbfounded to find that, at the time this supposed "Loan" was made, I had been incarcerated for three months of a twelve month sentence! He then fumbled along and said he would "flag" my account and that I would receive no further calls. We shall see.
i have received this call numerous times, recording says they may have important papers that require my signature. got someone on the line, said it was regarding a payday loan tht i took out in 2008 and made 7 payments and quit paying. duh, i have not worked since 2006 and took out no loans. i told them they were a scam company and he said no they weren't cause he gets his paycheck on time. reporting to attorney general's office in pa, it is PA phone number.
